ACTION welcomes the addition of William Brown to the team. William will be assisting the Economic Development Taskforce. His focus will be federal opportunity zones, job training, and neighborhood development.
William is a retired Marine Corps veteran from Philadelphia, Ohio. He is volunteering with AmeriCorps as an interim step in his career.
As a retired veteran, he furthered his education and recently graduated with his BA in Communications from Walsh University in 2020. In his free time, you can find him traveling around the world from Europe to North America and Asia. He hopes to travel to all 7 continents. In his spare time, William enjoys playing different sports including softball and volleyball.
